This plenary session provides the conference attendee with a theological framework for understanding health as shalom. This session will form a foundational background for the other sessions during the conference. This session will be an adapted version of chapter three from, Walking with the Poor (Myers 2011) + Christian Witness and Shalom The purpose of this session is to equip the conference participant with a framework for understanding Christian witness in the context of health missions.
