Grace Tazelaar, MS

Grace Tazelaar RN, MS currently serves as the Missions Director for Nurses Christian Fellowship. Grace taught nursing prior to leaving for Uganda as a missionary nurse. In Uganda, she worked in community health development programs and was involved in the initial national efforts to combat HIV/AIDS. Upon returning home, she was the Domestic Missions Coordinator for the Luke Society which provided start up funding and consultation for programs that promoted health and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

OBJECTIVES: 1) Describe how the Biblical concept of shalom is foundational to our understanding of health., 2) Present how meeting common spiritual needs contributes to shalom.
