Grace Tazelaar, RN, MS

Grace Tazelaar MS, RN currently serves as the Missions Director for Nurses Christian Fellowship, a strategic ministry within InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
Grace has led the healthcare programming for Urbana 06 and Urbana 09 Student Missions Conventions. She has published mission related articles in the Journal of Christian Nursing.
NCF Press has publisher her book Caring Across Cultures. She provided leadership for the 2010 NCF Global Project to Uganda.
Grace taught nursing at West Suburban College of Nursing prior to leaving for Uganda as a missionary nurse with the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee.
In Uganda, she worked in community health development programs and was involved in the initial national efforts to combat HIV/AIDS.
Upon returning home, she was the Domestic Missions Coordinator for the Luke Society which provided start up funding and consultation for programs that promoted health and the gospel of Jesus Christ in the U.S.
Grace currently serves on the board of the "Christian Community Health Fellowship" and the "Center for the Study of Health in Mission".
She represents NCF on the Christian Medical & Dental Associations advisory committees for Global Health Outreach and Medical Education International.
