SMUGGLING, BRIBERY, CORRUPTION AND DISHONESTY ON THE MISSION FIELD?! HOW SHOULD WE THEN LIVE?
Dana serves as legal advisor to various non-profit Christian mission organizations, including Fielding Dreams: We're On A Mission For Kids, Children of Promise, Foundation For His Ministry and others. He also serves as a member of the Best Practices Working Group.
Since his admission to the State Bar of California in 2002, he has spoken and written extensively on the topics of ethics in fundraising, bribery and corruption and the responsibility of Christians when confronted with these issues. Dana has served on the foreign mission field in Mexico, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Having grown up in a family with parents who founded several orphanages in Mexico more than four decades ago, Dana's service began at the early age of 14. The following year he traveled to England where the Charismatic Movement was in its early days. At the age of 21, after spending 2 years with Youth With A Mission in Africa and Europe including smuggling Bibles behind the Iron Curtain, Dana went on to serve as Administrative Assistant to Harald Bredesen, Chairman of the Board of the Christian Broadcasting Network. These early years helped to form the basis for his writings and talks concerning issues of international law, fundraising and ethics in Christian Ministry.
He and his wife Antoinette who hales from South Africa, have spent the last two years serving as missionaries in Oaxaca and Baja, Mexico. They currently reside in Southern California and continue to assist non-profit Christian organizations, groups, families, and individuals. Dana is a dynamic speaker, motivator, and teacher.
