Chisoo Choi, MD

After earning Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1979, he attended the Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and finished residency training in Internal Medicine at the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 1986.


He taught at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine from 1986 until 1989, and then for several years at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He currently works as an internal medicine consultant at the Brookhaven Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.


Dr. Choi serves on the boards of several mission organizations including the Korean American Missions Health Council (as a general secretary for 2nd Gen.), InterServe USA, and Blessings International. He participated in more than 20 short-term medical missions trips to countries including Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Slovakia, Russia, Mongolia, Nepal, Kazakhstan and most recently to Swaziland and Malawi.


He attended Rhema Bible Training Center and received ordination from Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and he volunteers as Assistant Chaplain at the Brookhaven Hospital. He also serves as the medical director for the Tulsa Dream Center (free medical clinic for inner city underserved population) since 2001. He is a husband and proud father of two sons.
